Marketing Manager

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] seeks a Marketing Manager to support the Head of Marketing Operations in campaign execution and optimization. This hands-on role involves managing campaigns, projects, influencers, and internal processes, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

Main Duties:

  • Support the delivery of priority marketing campaigns across brand, content, digital, and partnerships, ensuring clear project scopes, deadlines, and OKR’s are established and met.
  • Lead and manage specific projects from briefing through to execution and reporting, aligning internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver against timelines and expectations.
  • Source, brief, and manage influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors in alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines, ensuring all activations resonate with our target audience and uphold the brand's values.
  • Monitor emerging cultural trends and audience behaviour, identifying smart, timely ways for Williams to show up meaningfully across digital and physical platforms.
  • Support the Head of Marketing Operations in maintaining and improving internal processes and systems that enable the team to operate efficiently at scale.
  • Take initiative in identifying bottlenecks or opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing smart solutions that drive effectiveness or unlock creativity.
  • Manage key elements of financial administration, raising purchase orders, tracking spend, and supporting finance reporting.
  • Flexibly support additional marketing initiatives as required, responding quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, performance-led environment.

  • Ensure high standards of behaviour and conduct are upheld across the organisation, including the wellbeing of team members.
  • Carry out effective team member performance management, making sure suitable measures are agreed and taken to close any identified gaps in skills or knowledge.
  • Ensure you adhere to brand rules and maintain high standards of department presentation.
  • Comply with quality standards and identify and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance.
  • Ensure understanding of cost cap requirements and identify opportunities to improve optimisation.

Core Competencies:

  • Proven experience managing influencer or talent-based activations, from sourcing to execution and evaluation.
  • Strong cultural radar with a feel for what’s relevant, timely, and engaging to target audiences.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while keeping quality high.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confident working with senior stakeholders, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
  • Financially literate, with experience in raising POs, budget tracking, and reporting.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Formula 1 or motorsport is a bonus, but curiosity and the hunger to learn are essential.
  • While some travel may be required, this is a London-based role.

Qualifications and Experience Level:

3–5 years’ experience in a marketing operations, campaign, or project management role—ideally within sport, entertainment, or live events.
