On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Compliance & Safety Engineer to support their maintenance activities. - Contract Length:       Ongoing

- Shift Pattern:               5 / 5 / 4 shift Pattern (7am – 7pm)

- IR35 Status:                  Outside

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Compliance & Safety Engineer  to support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Safety & Compliance audits as prescribed by the Audit Plan
  • Daily administration & monitoring of the Occurrence Reporting System
  • Report any findings or concerns to the CMM for escalation to the Accountable Manager / NPH’s
  • Compile submissions for MOE revisions as required.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Detailed knowledge of EASA / CAA Part 145 Regulations and their practical application
  • Detailed knowledge of Part 66 requirements
  • Knowledge & experience of H&S requirements
  • Qualified Auditor experienced in aviation / engineering environment
  • Current in Safety Training (including Human Factors), Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) Phase 1, Electrical Wiring Interconnecting Systems (EWIS) Group 6 training
  • Experienced and competent Investigator, with evidence of investigation training
  • Passport enabling travel to locations as required by the client as part of the role
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Eligible to qualify for and hold UK airside security pass
  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) etc.
