Electrical Project Manager – CAT B Office Fit-Out

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical delivery of a £3M M&E package on a high-profile CAT B office fit-out in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a technically challenging commercial project from early delivery through to completion, working with a respected contractor and a strong site team.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of all electrical elements of the project — ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will act as the key interface between the client, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle management of the electrical package
• Programme planning and short-term lookaheads
• Managing subcontractors and specialist trades
• Driving health & safety compliance on site
• Chairing progress and coordination meetings
• Managing procurement and material schedules
• Commercial awareness alongside the Quantity Surveyor
• Overseeing commissioning and handover processes
• Maintaining strong client relationships

What We’re Looking For

• ? Proven track record delivering electrical packages on CAT A / CAT B fit-out or major commercial projects
• ? Experience managing projects valued £1M+ (ideally £3M+)
• ? Strong leadership and communication skills
• ? Ability to drive programme and solve problems proactively
• ? SMSTS (preferred)
• ? Relevant electrical qualifications
