Client: Our client is one of the UK’s leading main contractors that specialises in several sectors including commercial, education, data centres, healthcare and retail. The business has an annual turnover in excess of £500M, operating nationwide. They are at the forefront for some of the countries newest projects and innovative sectors.
Role: M&E Commissioning Contracts Manager– Salary: £450pd – £500pd
The successful candidate will be overseeing a flagship mixed used project in Central London.
This is a monitoring and checking role to ensure the commissioning consultant teams are performing, the commission packs are being completed and all the teams are functioning across this team.
This is a commissioning manager role so our client will consider both commissioning managers and project managers with a strong commissioning background
Role/Responsibilities:
- To manage, lead and coordinate projects in all matters relating to Commissioning Management and Validation for mechanical, public health, BEMS and controls and all building engineering specialist engineering services.
- To manage, lead and coordinate all matters relating to those specific sites from Commissioning Management and Validation perspective.
- To manage the Commissioning Management and Validation Services as required by the Business Assurance Scheme (QA)
- To be responsible for all aspects of site safety for yourself and others including risk assessment, method statements.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be computer literate, happy to interact with client and get stuck in on site
- Experience working in the commercial or data centre sector
- Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Sir Robert McAlpine, ISg, Mace, Wates, etc.
- Have the right forward-thinking attitude
