You should have an eye for detail and a passion for plants. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for a range of temperate, tender and tropical plants, ideally in a botanic garden or similar.

To be successful in this role you'll need to be a team player and also be able to work on your own initiative. You should be able to discuss plants and project proposals with Kew scientists and with Display House supervisors.

You'll need to have a horticultural qualification at least equivalent to NVQ level 2 or equivalent, or the equivalent experience.

The salary for this position is £29,692 per annum [Band B]
