FULL DESCRIPTION

TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in TIG welding and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role involves working with various materials, primarily sheet metal, to produce high-quality welded components. Candidates must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials, including sheet metal, ensuring precise and clean welds in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical diagrams to determine welding requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Assist with the fabrication of components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials as required.
  • Conduct quality checks on welded parts to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and improve welding techniques.

  • Proven experience in TIG welding, with the ability to produce high-quality welds consistently.
  • Strong knowledge of welding standards and practices.
