KITCHEN FITTER/JOINER

The ideal candidate should be well presented, confident to work on their initiative all while taking instructions from the manager, must be a good timekeeper & passionate about quality. Job is based at the factory in Strabane but may be on-site for one-off installation should they be required. The successful candidate should have various related skills to contribute to our projects and have proven experience in all or some of the areas below.

Role Overview:

Job is based at the factory in Strabane but may be on-site for one-off installation should they be required. The successful candidate should have various related skills to contribute to our projects and have proven experience in all or some of the areas below.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Min 3 years experience as a Joiner/carpenter assembling wood structures in a workshop such as kitchen cabinets, vanities, bulkheads and various types of wall panelling etc.
  • Experience as an installer fitting kitchen cabinets, appliances, windows, doors, vanities, bulkheads, skirting boards and various types of wall panelling etc.
  • Experience operating a woodworking nesting CNC machine.
  • Proven experience operating various workshop machinery including edge bander/panel saws and spindle moulder etc.
  • Have a good eye for detail and good experience in finished bench joinery producing high-end furniture on time, understanding and following drawings, time schedules and quality control is essential.
  • Ability to complete other skills such as laminate and plasterboard if required.
  • Take personal responsibility for their own Health, Safety and Welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace and adhere to all company Health, Safety and Welfare policies.
  • Previous experience/qualification in operating a counterbalance forklift and pallet truck safely would be advantageous
