FULL DESCRIPTION
The Home Care /Data Coordinator role involves preparing carer schedules, taking on new service user referrals, liaising with healthcare professionals, documenting service user information, and ensuring a reliable service. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in database software and Microsoft Office.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preparing carer schedules allowing for sickness and holiday cover
- Taking on new service user referrals and business growth
- Leasing with social workers, GP’s, District Nurses and health professionals
- Documenting and reporting service user heath information and concerns
- Making sure we deliver a reliable and consistent service
- Updating client service user and care staff data records
Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills second language is an advantage Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu in addition to English.
- Should be able to communicate proficiently with other stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
- A good understanding of database software and database management systems
- The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines
- Good presentation and negotiating skills
- A good understanding of the Data Protection Act
- A willingness to keep up to date with developments in care sector
- Good team-working skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
Experience:
- A minimum 2 years of experience in office environment.
- Ability to refine raw data, analyse and build reports.
- Experience in handling and managing business data in fast pace environment
