FULL DESCRIPTION

The Home Care /Data Coordinator role involves preparing carer schedules, taking on new service user referrals, liaising with healthcare professionals, documenting service user information, and ensuring a reliable service. The role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in database software and Microsoft Office.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Preparing carer schedules allowing for sickness and holiday cover
  • Taking on new service user referrals and business growth
  • Leasing with social workers, GP’s, District Nurses and health professionals
  • Documenting and reporting service user heath information and concerns
  • Making sure we deliver a reliable and consistent service
  • Updating client service user and care staff data records

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills second language is an advantage Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu in addition to English.
  • Should be able to communicate proficiently with other stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
  • The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
  • A good understanding of database software and database management systems
  • The ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines
  • Good presentation and negotiating skills
  • A good understanding of the Data Protection Act
  • A willingness to keep up to date with developments in care sector
  • Good team-working skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.

Experience:

  • A minimum 2 years of experience in office environment.
  • Ability to refine raw data, analyse and build reports.
  • Experience in handling and managing business data in fast pace environment
