Learning Mentor Roles - Join our Team. Pay: £15 per hour. Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day, across 5 days). Less hours available too (must commit to consistent days/hours each week). Contract: 39 weeks per year (term-time), salary paid evenly across 12 months. Location: North Somerset, Bristol & South Gloucestershire. Current Opportunities: Early Years / Key Stage 1 Learning Mentor (The Nest), Key Stage 4 / Post-16 Learning Mentor (The Base), Core Learning Mentor (Across Provision).

Current Opportunities

Early Years / Key Stage 1 Learning Mentor (The Nest)

Support our youngest learners through a mix of play-based and structured activities. You'll help develop engagement, communication, and emotional regulation in a nurturing environment.

Key Stage 4 / Post-16 Learning Mentor (The Base)

Work with older learners to prepare them for adulthood. This includes supporting Functional Skills, work placements, and transitions into college or employment. This role includes opportunities to contribute to partnership with other organisations.

Core Learning Mentor (Across Provision)

Work with learners aged 4–25 both onsite and in the community. You'll build strong relationships, maintain consistent boundaries, and support learners as they transition to their next stage.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with learners
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups
  • Support engagement, attendance, and progression
  • Keep daily progress records against targets
  • Use your interests to plan creative and engaging activities
  • Maintain high expectations and consistent boundaries

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid at 45p per mile) as some transporting learners is necessary.
