The Role:

As a Plant Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy plant equipment, including excavators, dumpers, and other construction machinery. Experience with HGV repairs is a strong advantage, as you'll also occasionally assist with the servicing and upkeep of our tipper fleet.

Key Duties:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and inspections on plant machinery
Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Assist with HGV/tipper maintenance as needed
Keep accurate service records and report defects
Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations
Support breakdowns and reactive maintenance when required

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as a plant fitter, construction mechanic, or similar
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
Experience working on HGVs/tippers is a major advantage
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant or Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
Full UK driving licence required (HGV licence beneficial)
Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
