Job Title – Key Account Manager (Energy Storage Systems)
Their Purpose – A pioneering technology company developing next generation fast charging battery materials for global industrial and energy applications.
Location & flexibility – Based in South Cambridge with regular national and international travel required.

About the Job –
• Win and grow strategic accounts across the ESS ecosystem, driving adoption of advanced battery materials.
• Engage customers directly and through partner led routes, influencing specifications and securing design?ins.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, forecasting, and long-term account planning.
• Deliver compelling commercial and technical presentations to varied stakeholders.
• Gather market intelligence and collaborate cross functionally to influence product and commercial strategy.
About you –
• Degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or similar.
• 5+ years in enterprise or strategic account sales within ESS/BESS, batteries, UPS, or industrial energy solutions.
• Proven success closing complex multi-stakeholder deals and selling through OEM/partner channels.
• Strong commercial competence, including pricing structures, contracts, and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions confidently.
