Job Title – Senior Project Manager (Facilities & Infrastructure)
Their Purpose – A leading biomedical research organisation operating complex, research?intensive facilities that demand world?class engineering, safety and operational resilience.
Location & flexibility – London-based research campus; 4 days onsite, 1 day from home working pattern
Salary & Benefits – up to £80k, up to 16% pension contribution (26% total), 28 days + BH + more
About the Job –
- Lead end?to?end delivery of complex engineering and building services projects across a major research estate. - Manage full project lifecycle including feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. - Coordinate multidisciplinary contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery. - Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, risk registers and performance indicators. - Provide technical oversight, ensuring projects meet statutory, regulatory and internal standards.
About you –
- Proven experience delivering complex building services or engineering projects in large estates or infrastructure environments. - Strong technical background across mechanical, electrical or multidisciplinary building services engineering. - Skilled in managing project budgets, timelines, risks and contractor performance. - Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement capability. - Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide colleagues; project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM PMQ, PMP) desirable.
