FULL DESCRIPTION

Job Title – Technical Project Manager / Junior Project Manager

Their Purpose – A fast-growing advanced materials business developing next-generation battery technology to enable superfast charging across a range of industrial and consumer applications.

Location & flexibility – Cambridgeshire – 4 days onsite 1 day from home, international travel (3-4 times per year).

Salary & Benefits – £50k - £60k, Private health insurance; 27 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays; enhanced pension scheme

About the Job

- Manage a portfolio of technical product delivery projects. supporting the commercialisation of a flagship battery materials product. - Plan, execute and monitor projects from initiation to closure using a structured, phase-gated APQP framework. - Own day to day project delivery including schedules, reporting, budgets, risks and quality criteria. - Work closely with commercial, operational, technical and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery. - Manage third-party suppliers and contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.

About you

- Degree qualified in an engineering or scientific discipline. - Experience within battery cell and/or battery pack manufacturing environments. - Practical working knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans and PPAP processes. - At least 1 year’s experience managing technical projects. - Strong communication skills with the ability to bring structure to fast-paced, high-uncertainty environments.
