Design Engineer
As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, estimating and technical documentation of LV switchgear, MCCs and complex industrial control panels. You will play a key role in ensuring designs meet client specifications, technical requirements and project timelines, while supporting delivery through manufacturing and testing stages.
- Design LV switchboards, MCCs and control panels using AutoCAD Electrical
- Produce schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Specify PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, relays, sensors and protection devices
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and safety requirements
- Lead smaller projects and manage multiple design workstreams simultaneously
- Support manufacturing processes and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Assist with estimations, quotations and tender preparation
About you -
- Strong AutoCAD Electrical skills with proven design experience
- Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panel design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally
- Commercial awareness with strong attention to detail
