Our Trainee Programmes are devised to enable you to progress from school leaver and graduate to a professional qualified Accounts, Audit or Tax Adviser.
Accounts
- Assist in the preparation of accounts of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies;
- Learn and use various internal accounting software packages and support clients’ accounting systems;
- Collaborate with other team members to prepare accounts; and
- Learn about and adhere to professional standards and ethical procedures.
Tax
- Assist in the drafting and preparation of personal tax returns and corporation tax computations;
- Liaise with other professionals and third parties, such as HMRC, regarding client queries and affairs;
- Gain experience in the different aspects of tax, with a variety of clients; and
- Develop an understanding of the different services offered by the firm.
Audit
- Assist in the preparation of audits;
- Communicate any issues or findings arising from audit fieldwork;
- Provide support to managers, portfolio holders and wider team;
- Maintain and build professional working relationships with clients throughout the fieldwork; and
- Complete tasks to required deadlines ensuring they are accurate.
