Job Title –Business Development Manager Their Purpose – A pioneering climate technology company specialising in advanced energy storage solutions. Their mission is to develop and deploy technology solutions that will help energy-intensive industries decarbonise and move towards a sustainable, net-[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] future. Location &, flexibility –Remote (HQ Glasgow) Salary & Benefits –Up to £60k basic (OTE £70k - £80k) - Uncapped commission   About the Job: - Identify target clients and sectors in order to achieve the business’s sales targets - Identify and develop the appropriate distribution channels to facilitate sales - Lever existing relationships to achieve both - Organising and facilitating target client site audits - Analysis of site data and preparation of commercial proposals - Issuance of proposals to target clients - Commercial negotiation and contract execution - Work with the executive team (CEO and COO) to develop appropriate sales strategies and plans - Assist the Marketing Manager in the production of effective sales literature and marketing collateral the  with the executive team to establish the marketing and PR strategy for the business - Monitoring of effectiveness of marketing/sales campaigns - Represent the company at events such as trade shows and conferences - Keep up to date with market trends including wholesale energy and storage markets and the relevant regulatory landscape About you: - Proven track record in sales, preferably in the industrial/energy sectors and ideally compressed air industry - Established client relationships preferable - Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills - Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to adapt and flex to suit fast moving start-up environment - Proficiency with on-line marketing and social media preferred
