Psychologist – schools

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are working with a leading provider of specialist care and education recruiting for a HCPC registered Psychologist to be based in Surrey.

About the employer:

This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young peoplein either an educational and/or residential setting who present a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, autism, ADHD, and special educational needs.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed be joining an MDT and will conduct clinical assessments and provide specialist and evidence based psychological interventions in either a 121 or group setting to pupils and residents (6-16 yrs old). This role will be based across specialist schools, children’s homes and integrated provisions. This specific role is based within a school who are Ofsted ratedas Good provider.

Contract type – permanent (52 weeks)

Hours – full time, subject to applications part time may be considered

Term time salary – £66,500 – 70,000 FTE

Experience required:

Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, Forensic or Educational Psychologist along with previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs such as ASDautism, and/or trauma.
