Are you a passionate and creative Year 6 Teacher ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners in the South Leeds area?

Our client, a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in South Leeds, is seeking an enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their supportive team and inspire pupils through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. This is a fixed term contract covering a maternity cover, it is full time, Monday to Friday, likely to be 2 terms but due to the trajectory of the school’s growth plans there may be a permanent opportunity in September. The role is to start ASAP.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver exciting, differentiated lessons for Year 6 pupils.
Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.

What we’re looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 6 desirable).
A warm, engaging personality and a passion for early education.
Commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
A minimum of 6-months experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum.
