[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group are working with a client school in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an excellent KS1 Primary Teacher to support Year 2 students in the Wakefield area.

Our client school is looking for a Primary Teacher who will be working with Year 2 students in an inclusive school, where both the teaching and support staff work to effectively cater for the range in abilities and needs of all students within the district of Wakefield.

The role is to start January 2026, to work full time, Monday to Friday. Covering a 2 term Maternity post.

ETC’s with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

  • Be responsible for the full teaching role including, planning, preparation, delivering lessons and marking.
  • Ability to confidently teach engaging lessons across a broad range of primary subjects to Year 2 students.
  • Ability to create a great rapport with students, staff and families.

Requirements:

  • QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching and planning KS1 Primary lessons in UK schools for a minimum of 6 months.
  • An excellent classroom teacher who values and aims to ensure all young people receive the best education, in a supportive environment.
  • Available 5 days a week.
  • Excellent classroom management.
