Peripatetic Teacher of Trumpet

The role involves teaching trumpet to students of various skill levels, preparing them for music exams, and potentially teaching beginner French horn. Applications close on June 10, 2025.

[Employer hidden] is seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified and experienced trumpet teacher to join the school on a part time basis from September 2025. In addition, the successful candidate will also be offered work through playing in school concerts and similar events.
The appointed candidate will teach pupils, ranging from complete beginners to those of a high standard, the technique and musicianship required, offering encouragement, support and guidance as necessary. The role includes preparing appropriate pupils for Associated Board (or similar) music exams and preparing appropriate pupils for the practical component of GCSE and A Level examinations. The successful candidate would also be willing to teach beginner French horn.
