We are a teaching practice near the University of East Anglia, where we have been training medical students for the past 2-3 years.  Our practice has three surgery sites West Earlham Health Centre, Bates Green Health Centre, and Adelaide Street Health Centre. We care for 12700 patients, a number that is increasing.

We are looking for a Salaried GP that shares our passion for delivering high quality patient care and can work 8 sessions per week. We support new GPs to develop their skills and interests, such as becoming a GP Educator. We offer a standard contract based on the BMA model and can arrange Tier 2 visa sponsorship if needed.

We have a diverse and skilled team that includes urgent care services.  Our team comprises of 3 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GP’s, 1 regular long-term locum, 2 Nurse Practitioners, a highly skilled Practice Nursing Team, Clinical Pharmacists, Physician Assistant, Care Coordinator, General Practice Assistant’s, Mental Health Practitioners, Mental Health Recovery workers, Social Prescriber, First Contact Practitioner. The clinical team is supported by the Patient Services Team led by two Practice Managers. We all work together to deliver high quality patient care with an emphasis on innovation and technology.

We are a learning organisation and encourage and support our team to develop their skills. We currently have one colleague training to become a Pharmacy Technician and another colleague training to become a Nurse Associate.

We also teach Year 5 and Year 2 UEA medical students and we also mentor Physician Assistant students.

We use SystmOne clinical system and have a reasonable workload with very few home visits. You would see 10 patients per session, with 15 minutes appointment time and enough time for administration work. Duty Dr on call is shared equally among the team.
