FULL DESCRIPTION
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Senior Associate with M&A experience to secure new client mandates, manage projects, and lead teams. The role involves business development, project management, financial modeling, and client management within the US and Europe.
Role and responsibilities
You will be required to, but not limited to, evidence experience in the criteria set out below:
- Business development in specified industry sectors and geographies leading the Company’s activities accordingly.
- Project management of corporate finance client transactions – acquisition, sale, fund raise covering:
- Project preparation – transaction strategy, buyer & target universe, documentation.
- Marketing – counterparty campaign management and negotiation.
- Closing – LOI/HOTs agreement, project management of due diligence (VDR) and completion.
- Expert financial modelling and valuation skills, excellent client project management and delivery.
- Clear ability to be a leader within specific markets, geographies and industries. Produce sector reports and insights on a regular basis.
- Ability to manage professional service teams and resources in different geographies and ensure project deadlines and milestones are achieved. Provide comprehensive training to junior teams and ensure developmental milestones are achieved.
- Capability to win new clients individually or as part of a broader team.
- End-to-end client project responsibility and accountability ensuring quality across workstreams and procedures.
- Managerial and leadership skills within a professional services environment
Skills & Qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Masters (MBA or similar) and/or professional qualification (CA, CFA, etc.).
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant M&A or Management consulting experience.
- Ambitious self-starter.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable in an agile, fast-moving global environment with a can-do attitude.
- Results orientated with a focus on attention to detail.
- Essential industry experience and knowledge in one of the following or another leading industry which is experiencing significant M&A activity:
- Chemicals
- Industrials
- Business services (recruitment, IFAs, etc.)
- Healthcare
- Retail,
- consumer, e-commerce
