FULL DESCRIPTION

Job Role: Management Accountant / Assistant Manager

Based: Blackburn with some travel to other offices expected

Salary: Dependent upon experience

Level: Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant with 2-3 years working experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Trainee Accountant and Accounts Assistant
  • Review all payrolls
  • Banking and Payment runs
  • Managements accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Client bank reconciliations
  • Review Audits

  • You will be methodical, organized and respond quickly to change, whilst demonstrating a proactive approach at all times
  • You will have high standards of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi task and determine your priorities
  • Strong systems knowledge including Excel and Sage
