Group Finance Manager – Blackburn
We are actively seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager based in our offices at Blackburn
Group Finance Manager
A growing entrepreneurial group of companies in the Health & Social Care Sector based at Blackburn are looking to recruit a Group Finance Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be required to support with all financial and management accounting duties as well as some general administration & procurement responsibilities. Key duties include:
- Preparation of detailed monthly management accounts
- Detailed costing workings in line with various tender submissions
- Supervision, training and development of two junior staff members
- Statutory accounts preparation and corporation tax analysis and workings
- Processing and submissions of monthly payroll
- Responsible for all pension administration and submission
- Responsible for VAT submissions
- Overseeing the purchase and sales ledger functions
- Analysis of spend to focus on profitable parts of the business
- Overseeing the procurement and administration function
As the companies are still relatively young the role will evolve through your employment so it is absolutely essential that candidates have a highly flexible approach and mind-set.
Key skills:
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant
Strong level of communications skills, with the ability to liaise at board level and with non-finance stakeholders
Ability to work to deadlines and work independently with a commercial mind set.
Some travel within the North West will be required.
Salary Range £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
