About the Role:
Have you got what it takes to build on our success so far? Then join our team as Business Development Manager and we can promise you a role of significant variety and influence. You will drive the development of our business across the North West, using your expertise to identify growth opportunities and harness potential sources of Service Development. You will produce tenders and funding applications, secure contract income, generate business proposals and oversee risk in relation to service contracts. We will also rely on you to lead the business planning process, ensuring that all new developments align fully with the business strategy.
About You:
Ideally holding a relevant degree, you will have a thorough knowledge of the commissioning environment relating to health and social care. Your understanding of service delivery within the Independent sectors must be supported by experience of negotiating and securing contract income through tendering processes such as writing bids and project managing tender submissions. You will certainly know how to deal with contract documentation and develop viable and sustainable business proposals. But business expertise alone is not enough. You must also have outstanding leadership skills; have a strong commitment to collaborative working and the credibility to influence all Stakeholders. Add to that your excellent communication skills you will quickly make your mark as part of our forward-thinking organisation.
You will be based at Head Office in Blackburn but should be prepared to travel the North West.
Salary: £40,000.00 per annum
