Payroll Clerk
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience.
Holidays: 25 + Bank holidays
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are looking to employ an experienced end to end Payroll clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on all aspects of the Payroll process.
*Please note this role will involve working across sites in Blackburn and Bolton. (Mileage policy in place)
Job Description:
- Dealing with payroll of around 600 employees (over 4 payrolls) on a monthly basis/Weekly basis.
- Importing pay information via a CSV spreadsheet, into the payroll system
- Processing of starters & leavers.
- Processing of absence, basic pay changes, other pay changes & queries
- Entering/amending any pension information
- Checking all time-sheets & adjustments are correctly processed
- Processing SMP, SSP, SPP payments on a monthly basis
- Entering & checking deductions for employees on the system including Attachment of Earnings
- Processing of SL1/SL2 & additional notifications via HMRC, imported online
- Releasing e-payslips to Employees
- Processing P45’s, & electronically sending information to HMRC
Person Specification:
- Must have previous experience of working within Payroll
- Must demonstrate excellent knowledge of end to end Payroll processing
- Have experience of processing timesheets
- Desirable experience of working within the care sector
