About the Role
Cobalt are working with a growing real estate developer is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of residential-led projects across London.
This is a well-funded and expanding development platform delivering projects across residential and hospitality sectors. The business offers strong exposure to live schemes and a collaborative, delivery-focused culture.
The role
You will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects from procurement through to final account.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts.
- Support tendering, procurement and subcontractor negotiation.
- Administer contracts including JCT and NEC forms.
- Manage valuations, payment applications and final accounts.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Produce financial reports and cost analysis for stakeholders.
- Assess and manage cost implications of design or construction changes.
Skills & experience
- Working knowledge of quantity surveying within construction or development.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Commercial awareness with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.
- Relevant degree or professional accreditation (e.g. MRICS) is advantageous.
