About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate, Assistant or Town Planner to join a well-established and growing planning consultancy in London. This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use and urban developments, providing an excellent platform for career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
- Supporting senior planners on a variety of development projects.
- Conducting site appraisals, planning research, and policy analysis.
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants.
- Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Monitoring planning applications and tracking progress.
About You
- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- Working towards (or interest in working towards) MRTPI status.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach.
Experience
- Graduate level: relevant degree with some internship or placement experience advantageous.
- Assistant level: 1-4 years' experience within a planning consultancy or local authority in London.
