About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate, Assistant or Town Planner to join a well-established and growing planning consultancy in London. This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use and urban developments, providing an excellent platform for career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
  • Supporting senior planners on a variety of development projects.
  • Conducting site appraisals, planning research, and policy analysis.
  • Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants.
  • Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitoring planning applications and tracking progress.

About You

  • RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Working towards (or interest in working towards) MRTPI status.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach.

Experience

  • Graduate level: relevant degree with some internship or placement experience advantageous.
  • Assistant level: 1-4 years' experience within a planning consultancy or local authority in London.
