My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Credit Controller to join a well-established Finance team. This role sits within the Credit Management function and plays a key part in supporting the firm's cash flow through effective collections, stakeholder engagement, and financial administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking to broaden their experience within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Role

  • Proactively manage and chase overdue debt via phone and email
  • Liaise with fee earners and billing teams to resolve invoice disputes
  • Manage the accounts receivable inbox and respond to queries
  • Allocate cash receipts accurately and clear suspense accounts
  • Maintain and update debtor records within NetSuite
  • Assist with monthly client statement runs
  • Prepare debtor and credit reports for internal stakeholders
  • Provide bank details to clients when required
  • Review and approve supplier bank details on systems
  • Support audit requests and ad-hoc finance queries
  • Work closely with internal teams (including Executive Assistants and Coordinators) to ensure invoice accuracy
  • Maintain supplier portal information and firm records

About You

  • Previous experience in credit control and sales/purchase ledger
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage a busy workload
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or QlikView is advantageous
  • Understanding of credit metrics (e.g. DSO) is beneficial
  • Reconciliation experience is desirable

Location: Hybrid 3 days per week in the office and 2 days WFH per week
