FULL DESCRIPTION

Nursery Manager – Bath, Somerset, BA2

Salary: £35,100–£40,248 per year | Up to £21.50 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications)

Days/Hours: 36 hours over 4 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm

Contract: All Year Round / Permanent

Nursery Manager – Bath, Somerset, BA2

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our excellent nursery in Bath, Somerset, BA2 catering for up to 90 children aged 0–5. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established setting operating at full capacity with a waiting list, offering strong internal progression opportunities.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a manager who enjoys working within the rooms, supporting their team, and maintaining high standards of care and education. You will focus on quality practice and team leadership, supported by a Finance Director and wider senior management team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Lead, support, and develop the staff team
  • Ensure high-quality, child-centred care and education
  • Build strong relationships with families
  • Support occupancy and enrolment growth
  • Maintain safeguarding and compliance with EYFS standards

About You

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Previous Nursery Manager experience
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and compliance
  • Passion for high-quality early years practice
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
