Nursery Room Leader – Woodford Green, Essex, IG8

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Nursery Room Leader to join our Preschool team in Woodford Green, IG8. This role offers the chance to lead a passionate team and deliver outstanding care and education in a nurturing environment.

Nursery Room Leader – Woodford Green, Essex, IG8

Salary: Starting at £29,000 per year / £13.95 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications, and hours)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7.30am–6.30pm

Contract: Permanent, All Year Round

Responsibilities

  • Support the nursery to perform at a high standard, ensuring all EYFS and legislative requirements are met
  • Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of children through strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Implement EYFS with a good understanding of child development
  • Report concerns to senior staff or relevant services
  • Work in partnership with parents and external partners to support children’s growth
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children, parents, colleagues, and visitors

About You

  • Level 3+ Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner
  • Positive attitude with creative ideas to inspire learning
  • Passionate about delivering high standards of care and education for all children
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Eligible to work in the UK
