Salary: £32,000 per year (depending on experience, qualifications and hours)
Days/Hours: 41 hours over 4.5 days (4 days can also be considered) / Shifts between 8am–6pm | Fixed contract
Contract: Maternity Cover role until October 2026, with potential to turn permanent or progress into another role within the company.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Deputy Manager/Room Leader to join our family-run Nursery near Fleet, Hampshire, GU51.
We’re looking for a confident leader with great people management skills and the ability to drive excellence across all areas of the nursery. You’ll be passionate about delivering outstanding childcare, ensuring compliance, motivating your team, and maintaining high occupancy levels. Responsibilities
- • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery
- • Deputise for the Nursery Manager when required
- • Deliver high-quality childcare and early education
- • Plan and implement engaging, interest-led EYFS activities
- • Celebrate children’s learning and development with families
- • Support the team and contribute to nursery development
About You
• Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
• Previous Room Leader or Deputy experience
• Passion for outdoor learning and inclusive practice
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
