We are looking for a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in Caversham.

Salary: £32,000–£34,000pa (Depending on Experience)
Hours: 40 hours/week | 4 or 5 days | 8am–6pm
Contract: Permanent | 49 weeks/year
We are looking for a passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team in Caversham.
This role supports the Nursery Manager, leads staff, oversees the under 2’s provision, and ensures a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.

Responsibilities
- • Lead and manage nursery staff and daily operations
- • Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes (EYFS)
- • Support children’s development and well-being
- • Build strong parent partnerships
- • Oversee administration, budgeting, and resource management
- • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety regulations
About You
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, which must be full or relevant.
• Previous leadership/managerial nursery experience
• EYFS knowledge, safeguarding & SEND expertise
• Experience with Ofsted inspections (“Good” or “Outstanding”)
• Eligible to work in the UK
