Early Years Practitioner – Catford, London, SE6
Salary: Up to £13.75 per hour / Up to £28,600p.a. (Depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hrs per week, 4 or 5 days, Shifts 7:30am–6pm

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, creative and enthusiastic candidate to join our family! In this role you will work alongside the 2rd in charge, based in the toddler room.

Responsibilities
- Be a reliable member of the team, working cooperatively and with flexibility.
- To ensure regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child’s progress.
- Supervise children at play indoor and outdoor, and at mealtimes to ensure safety.
- Work with the team to ensure that the children’s work is displayed effectively.
- Ensure that any food served is monitored and we conform to Food Safety regulations.
- Take responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS framework.
- To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other staff of any other relevant information.
- Maintain children’s records inclusive of observations and their next steps.
About You
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, which must be full and relevant.
- Experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar role
- Strong communication skills & a passion for childcare
- Team-focused, creative and flexible
- Eligible to work in the UK
