**Registered Manager – Autism & Complex Learning Disabilities**

**4-Bedded Residential Service | Manchester**

**£46,900 per annum + Excellent Benefits**

The Opportunity

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are proud to be partnering with a respected and well-established provider of specialist residential care in the North of England. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take leadership of a 4-bedded residential service in Manchester, which opened in August 2025. 

This purpose-built service provides tailored 1:1 support to adults with profound learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including behaviours that challenge. All residents are local authority referrals. 

Your Role

As Registered Manager, you will hold full operational responsibility for the home, reporting directly to the Area Manager. Your focus will be: 

  • Leading and developing a team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care 
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and best practice guidance 
  • Working with the organisation’s quality team to drive continuous improvement 
  • Building a positive, inclusive environment for staff and residents 
  • Managing budgets effectively and demonstrating commercial awareness 

This is a strong opportunity for a capable, hands-on leader with a solid background in complex care who wants to drive quality and stability in a developing service. 

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent) 
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing or deputising within a similar residential or supported living service 
  • Strong background supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs 
  • Good knowledge of CQC regulations and KLOEs 
  • Excellent people management, communication, and leadership skills 
  • Clear DBS

Location

Based in Manchester – easily commutable from Worsley, Wigan, Eccles, Bolton, Ashton-in-Makerfield, and Westhoughton.

Interview Process

  • Initial informal chat with the Head of Adult Services or Operations Director 
  • If successful, a panel interview including a 10-minute presentation with the Area Manager, Head of Adult Services, and a senior team member
