Junior Data Scientist – Agentic AI & LLMs (Claude AI)
Location: Hybrid (Manchester office presence required fortnightly)
Salary: £40,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist to join an expanding AI team focused on building Agentic AI systems and developing Large Language Models (LLMs), including Claude AI. You will support the design, development, and implementation of AI models that bring intelligent reasoning and automation into enterprise applications.
This is a hybrid position, with Manchester office presence required once every two weeks for collaboration and team sessions.
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in data science and machine learning, with interest in LLMs and generative AI.
- Familiarity with Claude AI or equivalent LLM frameworks is desirable.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Understanding of data pipelines and model evaluation processes.
- Exposure to the Azure Cloud Platform and related data engineering tools is a plus.
- Enthusiasm to learn in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
