FULL DESCRIPTION

If you’re an experienced fundraiser who loves crafting compelling cases for support, building meaningful funder relationships, and securing income that genuinely changes lives, this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a high‑impact role with a charity doing exceptional work.

As a Senior Partnerships Officer, you will play a key part in sustaining and growing the charity’s income, managing your own portfolio of mid‑level trusts, foundations and corporate partners, and helping shape the organisation’s fundraising strategy, alongside building on the commercial partnerships across the charity.

Day to Day:

  • Managing and growing a personal pipeline of mid‑level trusts and foundations, working with both warm and cold prospects
  • Researching, identifying and cultivating new corporate funding opportunities
  • Writing persuasive, tailored applications for core and project work, including multi‑year and unrestricted funding
  • Preparing engaging pitches for Charity of the Year partnerships and corporate support.
  • Building strong, long‑term relationships with funders through thoughtful stewardship and clear communication
  • Producing high‑quality reports that demonstrate impact, outcomes and financial accountability

What we would love to see:

  • Proven experience writing successful trust or foundation applications
  • A track record of securing new business and building corporate relationships
  • Strong portfolio management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Experience in prospect research and donor stewardship
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A collaborative, proactive and curious approach
