As a Network Engineer Apprentice, you will join a supportive and experienced team dedicated to maintaining and improving network systems for a wide range of clients. This role offers the opportunity to develop hands-on technical skills in networking, troubleshooting, and IT support, while contributing to high-quality service delivery and building strong client relationships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

• · Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and associated hardware.
• · Support the deployment and management of enterprise network environments.
• · Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across multiple sites.
• · Work on site-based networking projects, including installation and configuration tasks.
• · Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable and secure network operations.
• · Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and technical reports.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• - Grade 4 in GCSE Maths & Grade 4 in GCSE English
• - Passion for IT

Salary, Hours&Benefits:

• - £23,000 per annum
• - Monday – Friday – 9 – 5
• - Flexible working hours
• - 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

This Level 4 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in Networking.

You’ll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance and setting up virtual environments. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
