Sustainability at [Employer hidden] is embedded within how they design, source, and manage the products, ensuring they meet environmental standards and regulatory requirements while continuously improving the impact.
[Employer hidden] is looking for a Junior Product Compliance Coordinator (Apprentice) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in sustainability, but also keen to understand how compliance, data, and product standards underpin responsible business practices, including improving environmental performance through the products and processes.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and motivated to learn, with a desire to develop skills in sustainability reporting, product compliance, and business intelligence.
The apprentice will work closely with a supportive and experienced team, including the Product Compliance Manager, as well as colleagues across Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain. They will receive guidance and mentoring to help them understand sustainability standards, environmental and product compliance requirements, and how data can support responsible business decision-making.
As part of the apprenticeship programme, the successful candidate will receive structured training through Baltic Apprenticeships. This includes two-day training blocks every 6–8 weeks, alongside continuous workplace learning and mentoring, allowing the apprentice to build both technical knowledge and practical experience while developing their career in sustainability and business intelligence.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 4 Sustainability for BI qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Support the Product Compliance Manager in collecting and organising sustainability and product compliance documentation and records
- Help maintain and support the company’s ISO 14001 environmental management processes and related compliance and sustainability activities
- Assist in collecting and validating data to ensure products comply with environmental and safety regulations such as UKCA, CE, RoHS, and REACH
- Contribute to the preparation and publication of the company’s sustainability report and support supply chain due diligence activities
- Assist with the development and implementation of sustainable and compliant product practices
- Support the development and implementation of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability (CR&S) procedures and documentation
- Provide support for internal and external environmental, compliance and quality audits
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge
- Genuine interest in sustainability, environmental management, and how these are applied through compliance and product standards
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage records, documentation, spreadsheets and data accurately
- Effective communication skills and confidence working with a range of internal teams and external stakeholders
- Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and support new sustainability and compliance initiatives
- Interest in continuous improvement and contributing ideas to improve processes and sustainability performance
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
- £18,000 per annum.

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships:
This Level 4 apprenticeship provides everything you need to immerse yourself in the exciting world of technology and launch a rewarding career in Sustainability, Compliance, and Business Intelligence.
You’ll get hands-on experience supporting sustainability and compliance processes, working with product data, and helping ensure products meet environmental and regulatory standards. With our unique curriculum and one-to-one support, you’ll accelerate your skills and gain the qualification and confidence you need to thrive.
You’ll be based full time with an employer and will quickly become an important part of the team. Our training is 100% online, including real-time classes with our expert trainers and self-paced courses created by industry specialists.
