HOURS: 8-40 hours, including weekends.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking engaging Part-time and Full-Time Team Members to join our Restaurant team. If you are fun, enthusiastic, and charismatic and you thrive in a fast-paced, feel-good environment we would love to hear from you.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in a restaurant or café setting and bring a naturally warm, welcoming personality. As a Restaurant Team Member, you’ll be an ambassador for the Daylesford brand, delivering attentive, engaging service and helping create a memorable and uplifting experience for every guest. Provide a warm welcome to all guests and deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring our exceptional presentation and quality standards are met at all times.
  • Process customer orders and handle payments accurately using tills and card machines.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the restaurant, including tables, counters, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Restock food, beverages, and retail items as required throughout service.
  • Assist with inventory checks and report low stock levels to management.
  • Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety guidelines at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
  • Support opening and closing procedures as directed by the restaurant management team.
  • Supporting the Café Pot wash Team to maintain an efficient and clean back of house area.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
  • Confident handling payments and operating tills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
  • Knowledge or interest in organic, sustainable, or farm-to-table food
  • Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Experience assisting with stock control or inventory management
