ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Breakfast Chef role is to ensure the smooth, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of all breakfast service operations. Each morning, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, organising your station, and ensuring all dishes are cooked accurately to specification and served promptly.

You will take ownership of morning prep, from batch‑preparing key items to cooking fresh dishes to order during peak times. This includes closely monitoring stock levels, rotating produce, and communicating any shortages or requirements to the Head Chef or management team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute all breakfast dishes to the highest standard, following menu specifications and presentation guidelines.
  • Deliver daily mise en place to ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for breakfast service.
  • Ensure your section is fully set for the next day with fresh, correctly stored mise en place.
  • Ensure all kitchen audit requirements are met, including food hygiene, cleanliness, and operational checks.
  • Assist and support kitchen colleagues proactively, especially during busy service periods.

  • Good understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and essential food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Enthusiastic about food, ingredients, and learning new skills to support ongoing development in the kitchen.

**The on target earning potential for this role is £33,417.50 per annum based on a* *40-hour contract* *- comprising a base salary of £29,417.50, plus a qualified estimate of £4,000 in gratuities and service charge.*

*Gratuities are paid on a pro rata basis. It is estimated that in 2026 full-time employees can expect to receive in the region of £4,000 in addition to their annual salary.*
