Intern Analyst

Job description:

We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in entrepreneurship, angel investing and venture capital with experience in high growth startups, consultancy and financial services. The successful applicant will work alongside our investment team to identify and evaluate potential investment targets and have a unique opportunity to support the team through the investment process (origination to portfolio management). This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic start-up environment, leveraging your creative, technical, and analytical skills to implement our core business and investment objectives.

• Internship Duration: Rolling contract
• Candidates must be based in the UK
• A competitive salary

Responsibilities:

• Originating and proposing new investment opportunities across the UK
• Screening: call and/or meet prospect founders and evaluate the opportunity
• Assess business presentations, business models and provide detailed analysis
• Performing industry landscape evaluations
• Conducting market sizing and competitor research
• Building financial models to stress test unit economics

Personality:

• Team player
• Ability to perform well under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Analytical mindset, detail orientated with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in high growth environment

Desirable

• Financial modelling experience
• Angel Investment experience
• Previous financial services work experience
• Enrolled in a top tier university program (finance, business, law or engineering)
