Senior Occupational Therapist

Your World is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 OT for work on a locum basis. You will be joining an outstanding team within a well-known Council in Hull.

Who are we looking for?

Locality teams provide long term assessment and intervention for people / support individuals who require longer term adult social care support ensuring individuals goals and actions reflect changes in their life and support them to be independent. The Occupational Therapist will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of clients referred to adult social care.

You will be extremely understanding and able to adapt your methods to each patient's varying requirements. You must be comfortable organising your own schedule as well as working within the Council team.

Requirements

• To manage a case load including people with highly complex multiple needs covering moving and handling, minor and major adaptations, and equipment provision including specialist and bespoke equipment and seating
• To provide Occupational Therapy interventions and rehabilitation
• You will provide technical expert information, advice, and support, sharing knowledge and experience to support the multi professional team
• Excellent written and verbal communication
