Account Manager

At Neve Fleetwood, we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, growing accounts and spotting new business opportunities within a defined region.

At Neve Fleetwood, we’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, growing accounts and spotting new business opportunities within a defined region.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll work closely with our Business Development Managers to support existing customers and drive sales growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of existing independent customers
  • Proactively selling promotional lines, daily specials, and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Building strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer needs now and in the future
  • Identifying gaps and growth opportunities through questioning, data analysis and customer insight
  • Supporting new business by targeting specific customers and following up promotions
  • Achieving sales, margin and customer retention targets
  • Working closely with Business Development Managers and depot colleagues to deliver great service

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in sales or account management, ideally in foodservice or a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial awareness with confidence working with figures and margins
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to suggest new ideas
  • Good product knowledge (or the ability to learn quickly) and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing targets, calls and customer conversations
