FULL DESCRIPTION
Level 3 Teaching Assistant
We are currently working with a welcoming primary school close to Morpeth, Northumberland, who are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant for a long-term role.
Role details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:20
- Duration: Long-term / ongoing
- Setting: Primary school
Key responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 SEN support to pupils who require additional assistance
- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Assisting with learning interventions and behaviour support where required
The ideal candidate will have:
- ✅ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- ✅ Experience working in a primary school setting
- ✅ Confidence supporting pupils with SEN, including 1:1 work
- ✅ A calm, patient, and proactive approach
- ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
