Head of Communications
The interim Head of Communications and Engagement will be a pioneering, collaborative, and authentic leader, driven by our mission and committed to delivering our Corporate Plan. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, they will exemplify our values, driving high performance, colleague development, and staff engagement. This role requires a dynamic, innovative, and solution-focused leader with proven experience in delivering impactful communications and stakeholder engagement. The role also involves enhancing [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s corporate profile both domestically and internationally, working closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Leadership Team, and Board.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the [Employer hidden] Communications and Engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee all external communications, including media relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate reputation management, and social media, to influence target audiences and drive behavior change.
- Ensure consistency in corporate communications and internal engagement to enhance the organization’s reputation and culture.
- Serve as the lead advisor on communications strategies, supporting the Executive Leadership Team in risk management and opportunity maximization.
- Manage resources and budgets effectively, focusing on cost-efficient communication solutions.
- Lead and develop the communications team, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and other key stakeholders to advance [Employer hidden]’s objectives.
- Shape and uphold the strategic narrative, brand vision, and values of [Employer hidden].
