Chief Sales Officer
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] have an impressive track record of process development, process induction and volume foundry supporting silicon based MEMS, CMOS, ASIC, Bipolar-Linear & Discrete semiconductor device technologies.
Reporting to the Chief Executive,[Employer hidden] are seeking to appoint their first Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to lead the company’s overall sales, business development and marketing strategy and its delivery through the international-based sales team. The development of new business opportunities and the marketing of their development and process technical capabilities are key to the company’s future success.
Key Responsibilities
This is a multi-faceted role with responsibilities and skills required across business strategy, people, financial capabilities and commercial acumen. The CSO will be expected to:
- Work effectively and professionally as an Executive of the business.
- Create and execute the commercial strategy.
- Oversee marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to maintain existing customers and drive new business.
- Manage all commercial aspects of customers including contract negotiations, terms & conditions, agreements and risk management.
- Collaborate with development, engineering, production and quality teams to optimise product strategy and operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement and both customer and employee engagement.
- Proactive in resolving issues and confident in decision-making.
- Results driven, creating commercial goals for the company and sales team with the ability to complete New Product Introduction procedures.
- Presents ideas effectively through written and verbal communication.
- Clear, honest communication and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Diligent and detail orientated with a strong work ethic.
- Resilient and flexible in response to change, with a positive mindset.
- Senior sales experience within the Semiconductor or closely related industry.
- Degree in a STEM subject.
