With 24 operating bases, the business is based in Sunderland, UK, and manages two brands: OilSTS and LNGSTS.

About the role

[Employer hidden] Solutions (UK) is seeking to recruit a Managing Director to oversee the day to day running of the Company including the operations, business development, and finance functions. Based in Sunderland and reporting to the Board of Directors and to the Chief Executive Officer of Breakwater Investments Limited, the Managing Director will devise and execute growth strategies, change management and complex deal structuring in a B2B service environment. The Managing Director will run the business autonomously from a P&L perspective, working within the parameters and reporting structure as set by the Group.

Candidate requirements

The successful candidate will have significant experience working in the oil & gas service industry, ideally running a similar business as Managing Director. They will have a strong network of operators within the marine and oil & gas industries.

Excellent negotiation and analytical skills particularly in interpreting, using, analysing and presenting data, together with experience working within a multi-cultural environment and multi-level corporate reporting structure/board of directors are a must.
