Accounts Senior – Part Time Maternity Cover

Are you an Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior / General practice Senior, from an accountancy practice background looking for an immediate start (August 2020) 4 – 6 month part time (3 days a week) maternity cover contract role, with a strong possibly of extending the length of the contract or the role turning permanent? Are you also looking for a role which will allow remote / home working? Are you looking to work for a niche practice in Londons trendy West End which specialises in high profile creative and media clients in industries such as: Film & TV, Sound Engineers, Theatre, Design, Branding, Sport, Modelling, Fashion, Photography, Styling, and other industries? Are you looking for a role with an immediate start date (August 2020) with the option to extend the length of the contract and could even turn permanent (due to an increase in client numbers)? Your role will be hands on and will involve working on all the firms largest and most complex clients. Your role will be almost 100% statutory accounts based, although there could be a small amount of VAT work. You will be responsible for preparing all statutory accounts from start to finish and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard before being sent to clients. You will be responsible for liaising directly with clients and handling client queries. You will use CCH to prepare statutory accounts. You might also have to review the work of one junior member of staff. The firm will also allow flexible working, including working from home for the duration of the contract. A very strong emphasis is put on the advisory side of accountancy and you will be expected to provide value added advice to your clients on a regular basis. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of SME and medium sized businesses, all from the creative sectors.
