Head of Finance

Established in 1999, the business has built a fantastic reputation and track record in the design, testing and accreditation of fire door solutions for a wide range of fire door fabrication and installation markets.

The new position of Head of Finance has been created, to lead the commercial, strategic and operational finance of the business, improving processes, driving a number of strategic projects and enabling the next phase of growth. The Head of Finance will be the most senior finance person in the business and will report to the Deputy Chairman.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support and challenge to the Board of Directors in the delivery of the business plan and business partnering support to all areas of the business
  • Ownership, management and development of all finance functions and deliverables within the business
  • Budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, funding and working capital management
  • All financial management, statutory reporting and compliance on a monthly basis
  • Manage all project and technology requirements, leading on strategic IT initiatives
  • Support all areas of the business in areas such as product range, customer account management and business resourcing, ensuring all functions have the right information to make the best decisions

Candidate profile

We are looking to appoint a technically excellent and highly credible Head of Finance with strong commercial acumen and high levels of emotional intelligence. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong operational and commercial finance background in an SME environment. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills will be valuable attributes to bring.
